Happy Cinco de Mayo! Flan anyone?
In honor of Cinco de Mayo (and some cravings for some custard) I made my first attempt at the beloved flan. I was quite nervous about the outcome. But....I have to boast and say it was AWESOME!!! Looked great and tasted even better. This will have to become a tradition :)

Yum, I love flan! I guess it's safe to assume there is none left...glad it turned out, I want your recipe.
It looks totally appetizing and almost appealing to me... if i didn't have such an aversion to flan! ha ha. Glad it turned out well. There's nothin like satisfying a hankering prego craving. Good for you!
p.s. When are you due with bebe #2? I've been working on trying to convince my husband to take a break and go to DC this month. If I win him over, i'd LOVE to come see you guys!
